About 22 Rimfire Long Range
Our newest addition to the WHC match lineup! The 22 Rimfire Long Range match gives you all the challenge of long range shooting at a fraction of the cost. Using .22 Long Rifle ammunition, you'll engage targets at distances from 50 to 200 yards.
The match is still in its developmental stages so some changes may be implemented over time.
Current Format
- Paper X-Ring Match
- Distances are: 50, 100, 150 & 200 yards
- Time limit at each distance
- Time will be given at each distance for a few sighting rounds
- All shooting is from a bench with separate front and rear rest allowed but no "Joys Sticks"
Typically most shooters use a scoped rifle, although that's not a requirement. Shooters should wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk while resetting their own targets at each distance. Bring your own water and snacks!

- Time: 8:30 am opens / 9:00 am sight-in
- Where: Thunder Hole, WHC Range
- Distances: 50-200 yards
- Fees: First match free! Then $15 members / $20 non-members
Match Schedule
Saturday (day of match)
- 8:30 am: Range opens for shooter check-in
- 9:00 am: Sight-in
- Match begins: once everyone is done sighting in
- Noon-ish: Typical end of match
Registration: On-site on the day of the match.
WHC annual club memberships are available to support the club and get lower shoot fees!
