It’s time for the 3rd annual Willow Hole match for those that want to shoot a Cowboy Match at something a little further out than the end of your muzzle. It is intended for FUN, not to see who can shoot the fastest, even though we will keep score.
- You can shoot almost any category you can think up.
- We’ll shoot the regular cowboy rifle targets (but with our pistols), Sharpshooter targets and Cody Dixon targets.
- The following types of guns are allowed
- Pistols
- Single action revolvers
- 1911’s
- Shotguns
- Double
- Pump
- 1887 Winchester
- Rifles
- Any SASS legal rifle for Sharpshooter class
- Big Bore Rifles
- Single shot
- Lever Action
- BAMM
- Pistols
Here are a few of the possible combinations……….
- Regular Sharpshooter
- Regular Cody Dixon
- Doughboy (1911 +shotgun + BAMM)
- Indian Fighter (2 revolvers + shotgun + Sharpshooter + Cody Dixon)
- Want to shoot Doughboy with SAA revolvers – fine!
- Want to shoot Cody Dixon with 1911’s – fine!
- Want to shoot Indian Fighter with 1911’s – fine! (Maybe you had a time machine!)
You get the idea. We just want to get together and shoot at stuff a little farther out and have fun. Bring those safe queens that don’t get much action and come join us.

You can register the day of the match. However, we’d appreciate it if you gave us a heads-up beforehand if you can. Include what guns you intend to shoot and we will figure out your category – or make one for you! Contact either of us below.
