22 Rimfire PRS/Long Range Match
Regular Match Schedule: 3rd Saturday each month
Match Location: Thunder Hole Long Range (adjacent to Willow Hole Cowboy range, see home page for location).
Registration: On-site on the day of the match.
Advance information: Email sent to 22 Rimfire Long Range email list the weekend prior to the match (CLICK HERE and send a message and select to be added to the 22 Challenge / Long Range email list).
Saturday (day of match)
- 8:30 am: Range opens for shooter check-in
- 9:00 am: Sight-in
- Match begins: once everyone is done sigting in.
- Noon-ish: Typical end of match
Match Fees:
- First match is free.
- $15 for members
- $20 non-members

The match is still is the developmental stages so some changes may be implemented over time.
Current Format:
- Paper X-Ring Match
- Distances are: 50, 100, 150 & 200
- Time limit at each distance.
- Time will be given at each distance for a few sighting rounds.
- All shooting is from a bench with separate front and rear rest allowed but no “Joys Sticks”.
Typically most shooters use a scoped rifle, although that’s not a requirement. Shooters should wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk while resetting their own targets at each distance. Bring your own water and snacks!
